This iconic Swing Era ballroom made history as one of the first racially integrated public spaces in the U.S. when it opened its doors in 1926. Known as the “Home of Happy Feet,” the Savoy Ballroom is also where people first danced iconic dances like the Lindy Hop and the Mambo.
