In addition to Tehran, attacks were reported in Lorestan Province, as well as in the cities of Kermanshah, Tabriz, Isfahan and Karaj, RT reports. It is noted that a loud rumbling sound has been heard in the areas where the strikes occurred.
The communications blackout is expected to further restrict the flow of information from inside Iran as military operations continue.
